The LensGuard® 500 Eyewear Coating Series
LensGuard® coatings are precision-formulated hardcoats designed specifically for the demanding requirements of prescription and non-prescription eyewear. Each formulation balances Bayer ratio, steel wool scratch resistance, and pencil hardness to match the performance needs of different lens applications.
The series spans from LensGuard® 501, optimized for the highest abrasion resistance, through LensGuard® 505, an optimum balance of Bayer and scratch performance — available in both non-tintable (501–505) and tintable (506–510) formulations.
